A healthy, safe future for Brookfield.

Neighbors united by a shared purpose.

We are Stop the Brookfield Compressor Station Expansion: a nonpartisan community effort focused on health, safety, and the place we call home. Our goal is to stop the proposed expansion and bring careful technical scrutiny and community voices to the public decision-making process.

Local roots. Shared expertise.

Our core group brings together engineering, environmental law, regulatory experience, and longtime community involvement. We are grateful to the many neighbors who have read filings, asked questions, shared information, and shown up for Brookfield.

Our goal is to protect Brookfield’s health and well-being. We are not convinced that Connecticut DEEP or Iroquois is doing enough to protect us. We seek to stop this project as proposed: no expansion, or a substantially safer alternative that avoids added combustion pollution and demonstrably protects our community.
